Jacqueline Fernandez is a Sri Lankan actress who hails from Manama, Bahrain and was raised in a multi-ethnic home. Jacqueline Fernandez's mother Kim and her father Elroy are both Malaysians. The show she hosts, Lanka Business Report, is about Sri Lankan business. Padukone, the daughter of the badminton player Prakash Padukone, was born in Copenhagen and raised in Bangalore. Padukone played in the national championships when she was young teenagers, however she decided to give her sporting career in order to pursue a career as a model. Padukone is born in Mangalorean heritage and her native language is Konkani. Her ancestors hail from the village of Padukone within the Kundapura Taluk, in the Udupi district in Karnataka state in India. The father of her, Prakash Padukone, is a retired badminton player of global repute. Her mother works as a travel agent.
